Journal of Accountancy & Management Education, Research, & Practice (JAMERP)


The Journal of Accountancy & Management Education, Research, & Practice (JAMERP) is a peer-reviewed research journal of the University of the Cordilleras through the College of Accountancy and Research & Development Center. It is published semi-annually in April and November as a supplement to the International Conference on Accounting & Management Education, Research, & Practice. Its objective is to incessantly encourage academic researchers to publish applied and multi-disciplinary research works and scholarly articles in Economics, Accounting, Management, and Business disciplines as applied in the context of Education, Research, and Practice. The papers which have been disseminated during the International Conference on Accountancy & Management Education, Research, & Practice (ICAMERP) are of national and international interest and relevance; hence, the journal serves as an instrument to further disseminate the scholarly research papers on the aforementioned fields. The journal is available for Open Access through the ICAMERP website in an electronic format as well as a subscription in hard copy.




Editorial Policies

Articles submitted for the JAMERP should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in any other journal publications. Basically, papers presented in during the ICAMERP are considered, provided that they were not published as part of conference proceedings or any other publications as a result of the presentation in other conferences.




Guidelines for Submission of Manuscripts

All papers must follow the APA format (6th edition). All papers must be type written (Times New Roman, 12) in Microsoft Word in a minimum of 5 pages and maximum of 16 pages short bond sheet. Manuscripts are expected to range between 4,000 to 10,000 words, including notes, tables, list of references, and appendices (if applicable).


All graphics must be submitted as separate files (from the text) in a .jpeg format. The author is responsible in seeking permission in the use of graphics from the originator for use in the submitted manuscript.


Manuscripts should contain the following:

  • Title Page: With title, name of author(s), designation/rank, institutional affiliation, and mailing and e-mail address(es) of corresponding author; the same should be provided for co-authors (if any);

  • Abstract: Not more than 150 words which describes the problem or issue, methodology, and results. Four to six key words which describe the work should also be included;

  • Text: typed double-spaced and fully justified on numbered pages that have 1" margins on all four sides of the 8½" x 11" pages; footnotes (if applicable) rather than endnotes are preferred and must be created using the footnote feature of the word processing package; Section headings are in boldface, sub-headings in italics;

  • Manuscript format: Should include Introduction, Results/Findings, Discussion, Conlcusion, and Acknowledgement (if any)

  • Biographical Sketch a brief summary of the author(s) professional and academic career and current research interests.
