Schedule for TOGA ISSUANCE

All SHS Graduates | June 24, 25 & 26, 2019
UC Service Center (UC Bookstore).

Attire for Graduates during Graduation Ceremonies

Men:

Strand uniform color (no need for coats or jackets);
Black pants and black leather shoes;
Facial accessories and exposed tattoos are not allowed;
Keep a neat haircut and hairstyle.

Ladies:

Strand uniform color (no need for coats),
black skirt with hem not higher than Two (2) inches above the knee;
Not more than 2-inch high heels;
Minimal accessories.

Note: Togas were already washed but stored for a long time. It is recommended that it will be mildly washed and iron pressed.

Security Details and Protocol during Graduation Ceremonies

All graduates must come 30 minutes before the assembly, without bringing anything except toga paraphernalia (hood and cap). Phones, cameras, bags, or other utilities should be left with parents/guests. Parents/guests of graduates are not allowed in the assembly area.
Entrance for graduates and guests will be at Gate 1, 2 and 5 only. After the ceremonies, exit will only be through BRS Gate (through BRS Bldg, going out to Gov. Pack Rd), and Gates 7 (through Science Bldg, going out to Harrison Rd.). Marshals will assist ingress and egress.
Only two (2) tickets per graduate will be distributed for parents/guests. Only those with tickets will be allowed to enter the campus. For guests who may not be able to attend, they may view the live streaming broadcast of the ceremonies at the UC official FB page.
Entry doors will be closed at the start of the processional. It shall be opened again for latecomers after National Anthem.
Due to limited parking, parking of vehicles for graduates and their guests is not allowed within the campus vicinity. Parking may be at the Convention Center, the Burnham Park area, or the SM Pay Parking.
Children 12 years of age and under will not be allowed to enter the gym.
Taking of photos/videos is allowed only from where one is seated. No one will be allowed to stand or walk around to take photos. Only official photographers can be near the stage. Graduates may reserve for photo prints of the official photographers during the issuance of toga. Photo-taking inside the gymnasium is also prohibited after the ceremonies. Everyone will be instructed to exit immediately in an orderly manner after the recessional. Photo booths will be set up at the hallways and student lounge of the PE Bldg (beside the gym) for photo-taking after the ceremonies.
