CHED awards Centers of Excellence status to three UC programs

Select higher education institutions from seven regions in the Philippines were honored at the Awarding of Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development by the Commission on Higher Education in celebration of the commission's 22nd Anniversary.

The University of the Cordilleras was awarded personally by CHEd Chairperson Dr. Patricia Licuanan three plaques each certifying the university's three Centers of Excellence namely: Information Technology, Criminology, and Teacher Education.

Center for Excellence is the highest academic status conferred by CHEd to degree programs which continuously demonstrate excellence in the areas of instruction, research and publication, extension and linkages.

UC was represented by CITCS Dean Nancy Flores, CCJE Dean Dr. Ariel Pumecha and CTE Dean Dr. Caridad Pagaduan.

UC's Integrated School thru the Office of the Student Welfare Services invites UC Grade School, Junior High School and Senior High School students in joining the different virtual activities for this Mental Health Month Celebration.
