CHED Re-accredits UC-MIT Program for HEDP-FDP Scholarship Grants

The College of Information Technology and Computer Science of the University of the Cordilleras, identified by CHED as one of its delivering institution on Master in Information Technology (MIT) program, is now accepting applicants for CHED HEDP-FDP, Phase 2 scholarship grants.

The MIT Program is a 2 year non-thesis program in either WEB or Network track technologies. The program is designed to educate and develop qualified students and working professionals, who can effectively research, teach, design, use and administer emerging and converging information and communication technologies in support of organizational strategic goals.

The CHED Faculty Development Plan (FDP) is a major component of continuing Higher Education Development Project (HEDP), a set of reform-oriented interventions aimed at improving the quality, equity and efficiency of Philippine higher education. The FDP seeks to upgrade the academic qualifications of tertiary faculty members to masters and doctorate degree levels.

The scholarship package includes:

  • Tuition and Other Fees
  • Book Allowance
  • Stipend
  • Transportation Assistance
Accomplished forms are to be submitted at the office of the CITCS Dean, 3rd floor Main Building, University of the Cordilleras.
