Bachelor of Arts in Communication

Mass Communication, a three-year degree program in the trimester calendar system, is designed for students who are interested to be trained in print media and electronic media - inspire young men and women to seek socially useful and rewarding careers in a field whose importance is second to none.

Objective:

  • It aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of communication applicable in various professions and contexts, with focus on the media professions.

Competency Standards:

  1. Knowledge and skills in planning, managing and evaluating communications programs.
  2. Designing and producing multi-media (print, broadcast, audiovisual and electronic) outputs.
  3. Designing, managing and evaluating communications campaigns.
  4. Designing media-based learning systems and conducting communication media research.
  5. Uphold professional ethics and standards and to practice social responsibility at all times.
